Suzie
Suzie was sassy, playful, family oriented, loved her snuggles and most importantly, food and her toys.
I often see people posting about their pet passing away and wonder how they've coped with the following months. People (like myself) usually post a very brief heartfelt tribute and that tends to be the end of it. I've wanted to make posts about our girl many times but felt it was a bit 'silly' because it was a doggy and not a person, and I can imagine so many people feel the same. But our pets are part of our family and part of our everyday routine, just like the rest of our family members. Suzie was only 3.5 years old but she was the heart and soul of our family, and we all miss her every day. She had the biggest personality of all of us. She loved the car, her treats, and walks. She loved starting playful fights with her sister Tilly. She loved barking at dogs on the TV, and in the mornings she would run down the hall and scoot all the way under the covers, to the bottom of the bed and sleep spooning your legs. She adored ice cream and sticking her head out the window of the car (very briefly). She was shy and suspicious of most people, and she loved to bark at literally any noise. But when it came to her family, she was such a baby and was so gentle with all of us. She was protective, sweet, sassy and playful. For anyone else who has lost a pet, sending you all love and condolences, and to Suzie, we love you forever and always, from the Beirne family x
