Lena was more than a pet she was a gentle constant in our home and her passing after eleven loving years in Dalkey has left a quiet space that feels so much larger than her small frame ever was. From the moment she arrived she carried herself with a mix of elegance, curiosity and mischief that made every day a little brighter. Her striking black and white coat and her bright watchful eyes gave her an almost regal presence yet she was always happiest curled up beside the people she loved. She greeted all days with the same enthusiasm with playful taps gentle head bumps and her habit of watching everything as though it all mattered deeply to her. Home will feel different without her but the memories she shaped will stay close. The quiet patter of her paws, the sound of her purr in the evenings and her familiar presence on the windowsill watching the world outside are moments that will be missed and remembered in equal measure. Sarah, Frank, Josie and Emma will forever carry the love she gave not just as a memory but as part of our everyday lives. Lena brought joy gentleness and devotion and her spirit will remain with us always.
