Felix
Felix you were one in a million
Felix has passed on and we're just getting to grips with the sadness over these few days. It was a blast from the day he arrived as a delightful ball of fluff who loved nothing more that chewing the kitchen table to a gentle giant who lounged around the house without seemingly a care in the world. And yet he knew everything that was happening, especially when we went anywhere near the biscuit press. I'd swear he'd even know that you were thinking of going to that particular press. We had to change from saying the word walk to spelling it out so that he wouldn't lose his life thinking he was heading out to the fields. Even then he started to cop on to the spelling of walk and then we had to start saying it in Irish. Such were the joys of his companionship. He knew the weekend days when we'd be off from work. Saturdays and Sundays were always announced by his restless low moaning, making it look like he didn't want to wake us up but knowing it would and then we'd be off for the days Felix is gone for his final run and we will always remember him. Rest easy dear Felix
