You weren’t just a dog—you were family, our shadow, the warmth at our feet, the joyful soul that could turn the darkest day into light with just a wag of your tail and just a look at your handsome face. We will miss the little things most—the soft thud of your paws following us from room to room, the way your head tilted when we said your name or said your favourite word aka treat or the unspoken comfort of your presence when life felt heavy. Those small, ordinary moments were actually the most extraordinary of all. Our hearts ache knowing we’ll never feel your fur beneath our fingers again or hear your paws race to greet us at the door or your loud adorable bark. But the love you gave us will never fade. It is stitched into who we are forever. Goodbye for now, Coby. Run free where there is no pain, only open fields and endless joy. We’ll carry you with us always—until the day we meet again.
