Cloe

Cloe became part of our family after her owner died and his family asked us if we would be interested in taking her in. We took her in without hesitation because she was a lovely gently dog and an absolutely super retriever. But did she love her food. She was very overweight when we got her and it took months of exercise and proper feeding to trim her down. Somehow in the middle of this regime, she would arrive into the garden with some beautiful cuts of select beef which really puzzled us for a few days. One day she arrived into the garden with the beef but also the packaging in which the steak was contained. It immediately became clear that she had learnt that a neighbour had started to get home delivery of his groceries and Cloe was helping herself to the choicest of contents!! Cloe was the most dear, loveable pet that anyone could ever hope to have. We loved her so much and she loved us back as much. She lived the best life with us and was a true friend and companion. Rest well Cloe, we love you.
