Buster
Our beautiful Lionheart
We're devasted. Our beautiful Buster is no longer with us after an awful accident this morning. We hoped and hoped that he would make and the vet did his very best for Buster but this afternoon Buster crossed over the rainbow bridge nice and peacefully. It's so quiet, really too quiet to explain. A huge presence is missing and we wonder how such a small animal could take over a whole household. But he did and we loved his antics and mischief. He was 7 and we really expected to have him around until the boys left school. They are heartbroken and just as they are back to school. It was just too sudden for us all. We're really don't want to be getting up in the morning to a quiet house with no Buster looking for his breakfast and yapping for this first walk in the field rushing around looking for the rabbits he could smell and then screeching after them when he spotted them. His butty legs were never going to hunt down a bunny but he lived for trying. He lived a wonderful life. He gave us unbounded joy and his heart was bigger than his body. We've lost one of the family. We'll never forget Buster. And Buster, this is for you.
